Finances should never hold you back from pursuing your dream. Education is an important investment in your future and there are multiple ways to fund your education with Aveda Institute. We’ll work with you to figure out the best solution for you and help get you started with the financial aid process.

Our financial aid team works diligently to

  • encourage students to use and apply for private scholarships,
  • award Pell grants and Stafford Loans to those who qualify through the FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid),
  • provide step by step assistance through the Financial Aid Application process,
  • use the detailed admissions process to uncover any unique situations that may impact a students eligibility, and
  • utilize any funding source available to the student to create an individualized financial plan.

A Scholarship is a grant or payment made to support a student’s education, awarded on the basis of academic or other achievement.  A number of organizations and corporations offer scholarships. Joe Francis Haircare Scholarship

Joe Francis Haircare Scholarship awards $1,000 scholarships for students enrolled or applying for enrollment to a barber or cosmetology school. Esthetician or Nail training students are not eligible. For details visit

The NCEA Esthetician Scholarship

The NCEA Esthetician Scholarship awards $1,000 toward their education while meeting certain requirements such as financial circumstances, attendance and maintaining acceptable grades. Application deadlines are quarterly and can be found at

Colorado Learners Scholarship
As part of our launch in Denver, and commitment to local learning, we are announcing our $1,000 Colorado Learner’s Scholarship.
Submission Deadline: June 15, 2017
Award Announced: July 1, 2017
Eligibility: High School seniors planning to attend college in Colorado, or anyone enrolled in part-time or full-time college classes in Colorado.
Application instructions: Create a short video (max 2 minutes) or short essay (max 1,000 words) explaining your personal goals and how taking classes will help you get there. To submit, email with a link to your video or your essay text in the body of the email. Please include “Colorado 2017 Learner’s Scholarship” in the subject line.

Students may be eligible for financing up to 100% of their tuition (for those who qualify).

Federal Student Aid

Financial aid for Aveda Institute Denver, Tucson, and Provo* is available to those who qualify through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at You will need to reference the School Code. Aveda Institute Denver’s Federal School Code: 041671

Tuition Waiver for Multiple Programs

Aveda Institute offers a $500 waiver on tuition for students that enroll in a second program. To be eligible, students must enroll into the second program no more than six months from the first completion date.

What is the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA)?

The Higher Education Opportunity Act (Public Law 110-315) (HEOA) was enacted on August 14, 2008, and reauthorizes the Higher Education Act of 1965. The HEOA requires that by October 29, 2011, each postsecondary institution in the United States that participates in Title IV student aid programs provide a net price calculator on its website (or through its agent).
